Once you have one or more addresses in the Address Book you need to move them to the Destinations list on the right side of the Setup window. DropSite will deliver files to the addresses in the destination list. To put an address in the destination list click on it once and drag over. You may rearrange the items in either list by dragging them up or down. You can duplicate an address in the Address Book list by hi-lighting it and pressing Command-D (for duplicate) or you can drag in with the Option key pressed. To change an Address Book item double click on it to edit it.
To delete Address Book or Destination items hi-lite the item and click the "Delete" button under the list. Be careful when deleting Address Book items. Address Book items are used for all DropSites on your computer. If you delete an Address Book item for one DropSite it will not be available for other ones either. That is: other DropSites on your computer may have that Address Book item in its Destinations list. If the Address List item is deleted then DropSite won't be able to find it when it tries to deliver your files. You will be warned if you try to use a DropSite with a deleted Destination. A dialog will offer some suggestions for dealing with the situation.
Now that everything is set up, using DropSite is easy! Make sure your computer is setup for internet access. Drag your files and folders onto the DropSite Icon and your files are on their way.
No problem. Use the Finder Copy to make anther one. Be sure to give your icons good names so you know where they're going!
You might also give them custom icons to tell them apart. Don't worry about using a lot of disk space by making copies. Each DropSite is about 9K because they all share a set of common DropSite files. If you use new OS X icn (big) icons your files will be about 40k bigger.
